Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman on Sunday gave a passionate call of solidarity with Palestinians, appealing to the Muslim world to stand united against Israeli aggression.

Addressing the record Gaza Million March rally in Islamabad, Rehman criticized the complicity of world powers and the hypocrisy of international politics.

“Today, we have sent a powerful message to the world — the people of Pakistan stand shoulder to shoulder with the oppressed Muslims of Palestine,” he declared, addressing a charged crowd.

Rehman declared, “We will never accept friendship with Israel. Our rulers must learn from the brave students of the US and Europe who are standing up for the oppressed people of Palestine.”

Taking a direct hit at the West, Rehman didn’t hold back. “The US is a terrorist state. It openly supports Israel in its brutal massacre of innocent children in Gaza,” he said. “But let it be known — the Islamic Ummah is not asleep, only our rulers are.”

He emphasized that Jamaat-e-Islami will continue its struggle for the cause of Palestine, standing firm against injustice and oppression. “Our movement will not stop. The Pakistani nation is awake, aware, and united.”

Calling for transparency, he demanded the names of those who have visited Israel from Pakistan, asserting, “Dr. Liaquat Ali Khan made it crystal clear—Pakistan will never recognize Israel.”

Rehman also took aim at the opposition, accusing them of silence on Palestine. “When it suits them, they speak with the establishment. But today, they are more interested in pleasing Trump than standing with Gaza.”

The Gaza Million March witnessed a strong turnout, with people from all walks of life demanding justice for Palestinians and calling for an immediate halt to Israeli atrocities.
