NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman has said the space agency has captured images of unexplained objects during its missions, but stressed that there is no confirmed evidence of alien life.

Speaking on the Jack Gordon Podcast, Isaacman said NASA has collected images that scientists have not yet been able to identify based on the available data. However, he clarified that he has not seen any evidence of crashed alien spacecraft or confirmed extraterrestrial life.

The 43-year-old commercial astronaut said he believes there is a possibility that life exists elsewhere in the universe, adding that "perhaps there's life everywhere out there."

His remarks come as the US government under President Donald Trump continues releasing previously classified files related to unidentified flying objects (UFOs), with the latest documents made public in June 2026.

Isaacman also expressed optimism about soil samples collected from Mars. He said there is a strong possibility that, once the samples are brought back to Earth and studied, they could show signs that microbial life existed on the planet in the past.

He said NASA's long-term goal is to answer one of humanity's biggest questions: "Are we alone in the universe?"
