Indian Firm Accused of Hiding Iranian Trade

Aik News:An Indian company is under scrutiny for allegedly bypassing US sanctions by hiding the true origin of petrochemical imports from Iran.

A report claims that the firm imported large amounts of petrochemicals from Iran but tried to disguise where they came from. Experts say the company used a deceptive shipping route through Oman to make the cargo appear non-Iranian.

The study alleges that the firm handled about 2.6 million metric tons of granulated urea linked to Iran. A vessel named MV Infinity reportedly stopped in Oman as part of this plan, which analysts believe was meant to avoid US trade restrictions.

Documents related to the shipments are now circulating online, increasing attention on the case. Experts warn that if proven true, the company could face serious penalties under US sanctions laws.
