Aik News:Security forces have foiled a major terror plot by arresting a woman suspected of planning a suicide attack, preventing what officials say could have been a large-scale tragedy.

According to reports, the arrested woman, identified as Laiba (also known as Farzana), claimed she was manipulated and exploited by members of a Terrorist Network before being pushed toward extremism.

In her statement, she said that she came into contact last year, in July, with a commander of the  (TTP) named Ibrahim, also known as Qazi. She alleged that he influenced and radicalized her, convincing her to carry out a suicide attack.

The suspect further stated that she was later connected to another individual, Dil Jan, who was supposed to arrange her meeting with a woman identified as Dr. Sabiha. She claimed she was assigned the task of recruiting more young girls for similar activities.

The woman alleged that vulnerable girls were targeted through psychological manipulation and personal exploitation. Other alleged victims have also accused Dr. Sabiha of using emotional pressure and abuse to trap and radicalize young women.

Authorities said the suspect was arrested upon reaching Khuzdar before she could carry out any attack. Officials described the operation as a major success, adding that a potential disaster was prevented.

Investigations are ongoing to dismantle the network and verify the claims made by the suspect.
