The Coordinator of the National Message of Peace Committee, Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, while addressing a press conference along with scholars and religious leaders regarding the Tralai incident, said that the very purpose of establishing the National Message of Peace Committee is to ensure peace in Pakistan.
Members of the committee, along with scholars and religious leaders, visited the injured at PIMS Hospital.
Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi said, “This is the first incident in my life where representatives of all religions came together to visit the injured, and there were tears in everyone’s eyes. No one can divide us at any level. Yesterday, when brutality and savagery showed their face, a large number of citizens reached hospitals to donate blood.”
He further stated that those cruel people who attacked worshippers while they were prostrating deserve hell. All scholars and religious leaders in Pakistan have issued a fatwa declaring that those who attack places of worship are enemies of Islam. “We stand with our security institutions,” he added.
According to Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, anti-Islam and anti-Pakistan forces are behind the attackers. “No one can forget the sacrifices Pakistan made for Afghanistan. Today, the entire nation is asking whether this is the reward for the sacrifices we have given.”
“We consider Afghanistan our brother country, but attacks are being carried out in Pakistan from there. It must be said that such places will also be targeted. The coming together of scholars from all schools of thought sends a clear message that the Pakistani nation is united. The entire nation stands against terrorism. Terrorists have no connection with Islam, nor with humanity.”
