Web Desk: The Chief of Libya’s Armed Forces, Field Marshal Khalifa Abu al-Qasim Haftar, along with Libya’s Prime Minister Dr. Osama Saad Hamad, visited the General Headquarters (GHQ) of Pakistan.
According to Pakistan Army’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Libyan leadership met with Army Chief and Chief of Defence Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
The ISPR stated that the meeting focused on mutual interests, regional security, and professional cooperation. Field Marshal Asim Munir reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Libya. He also assured continued support for peace, stability, and institutional development in Libya.
Upon arrival at Nur Khan Airbase, the Libyan delegation received a warm welcome. The Libyan leadership also visited the Martyrs’ Memorial at GHQ and laid a floral wreath. The meeting was held in a cordial and constructive atmosphere.
