Wedding invitations for Junaid Safdar, son of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, have recently gone viral on social media, drawing widespread attention and curiosity.

The invitations reveal that the wedding celebrations are planned for January 16–18, 2026, with the walima ceremony set for January 18.

Junaid Safdar is set to marry Shanza, granddaughter of senior Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former MNA Sheikh Rohail Asghar.

According to reports, the mehndi and walima ceremonies will take place at the historic family residence in Jati Umra, Lahore.

While the event has captured public interest, the Sharif family has not yet released an official statement regarding the celebrations.

This will be Junaid Safdar’s second marriage, following his previous marriage to Ayesha Saif in 2021, which ended in divorce in October 2023.
