Thank you for the messages of concern. A brief disruption occurred during a live broadcast when someone nearby having an argument was unaware that I was live on air.

I rejoined the interview shortly afterward. I hope we can avoid unnecessary politicisation of this. https://t.co/c4opMKphqS

Addressing the matter, Ahsan Iqbal explained in response to a journalist’s tweet that the brief interruption was caused by an individual unaware that he was on a live show. “A short disruption occurred due to someone’s unexpected interference, but the program was rejoined shortly afterward,” he clarified. He urged that the episode should not be politicized unnecessarily, emphasizing that it was merely an innocent technical glitch.
Supporting his statement, Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar confirmed on social media that the disruption was caused when a child unexpectedly entered the room during the live broadcast. He reassured the public that the matter was resolved quickly and no further issues occurred.
