Students and parents in Sindh can now plan ahead as the provincial education authorities have officially announced the winter vacation schedule for all schools across the province.

According to the Sindh Education Department’s Steering Committee, all public and private schools will remain closed from December 22 to 31, 2025, giving students a well-deserved break before the new year. Schools are set to reopen on January 1, 2026, marking the start of the next academic term.

The department clarified that supplementary examinations conducted by education boards will continue as per the pre-announced schedule and will not be affected by the winter break. This ensures that students sitting for these exams can prepare without any disruption.

The announcement comes shortly after the Punjab government revealed its winter vacation plan, highlighting slight differences between provinces. Punjab schools will observe winter vacation from December 22, 2025, to January 10, 2026, reopening after a longer break compared to Sindh.

Parents and students are encouraged to plan their activities accordingly, keeping in mind the official winter vacation dates. This early notification allows families to make the most of the holidays while preparing for the upcoming academic term.
