Ministry alerts public to 'fake company' offering jobs in Saudi Arabia

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has issued a warning to the public regarding a fraudulent advertisement circulating under the name “Khuddam al-Hujjaj,” which falsely offers Hajj and Umrah service jobs in Saudi Arabia.

The ad, published in a local newspaper on December 8 and shared widely on social media, claimed to provide positions in Makkah and Madinah for two years, along with free visas, return tickets, and accommodation.

However, the Ministry confirmed that the advertisement comes from a fake company with an invalid registration number from the Bureau of Immigration and Overseas Employment (BEOE).

A copy of the false ad, allegedly by a firm named “Khadmeen Hajj,” was shared publicly to alert citizens.

The Ministry urged people to always verify company registration details through official government websites, avoid contacting mobile numbers listed in such ads, and communicate only via official landline numbers.

It also encouraged citizens to report any suspicious activity to law enforcement authorities.

Authorities confirmed that steps are being taken to hold those responsible for publishing the fraudulent advertisement accountable, emphasizing the importance of protecting vulnerable individuals from scams and ensuring safe, genuine opportunities for those seeking Hajj and Umrah service jobs.
