Australia’s much-anticipated One-Day International (ODI) tour of Pakistan might not take place in March as initially planned, according to sources close to the cricket boards.

The three-match ODI series, originally scheduled from March 13 to 19, is now expected to be pushed back, with discussions ongoing between the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Cricket Australia.

Sources confirmed that the ODI series will likely take place after the Pakistan Super League (PSL), giving both teams more flexibility and ensuring smoother scheduling for players. The move comes as boards aim to avoid clashes with other cricketing commitments and maintain a competitive edge for both sides.

Meanwhile, the T20 International (T20I) series between Pakistan and Australia remains unaffected. The three-match T20I series is set to take place from January 30 to February 5, ahead of the T20 World Cup 2026. Fans can still look forward to high-octane action as both teams prepare for the shorter format battles.
