Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha have joyfully welcomed their first child, a son, on October 19, 2025.

One month later, the couple shared the heartwarming news of his name, revealing that their little boy will be called Neer, symbolizing pureness, divinity, and limitless potential.

The name also beautifully intertwines their own names, taking “Nee” from Parineeti and “R” from Raghav, reflecting the deep bond that brought him into the world.

Sharing the news on Instagram, the couple wrote, “Jalasya rÅ«pam, premasya svarÅ«pam tatra eva Neer. Our hearts found peace in an eternal drop of life. We named him ‘Neer’ pure, divine, limitless.”

Their post included tender photographs of them holding and gently kissing their newborn’s tiny feet, capturing the profound love and connection that fills their hearts.

Parineeti and Raghav’s journey together began with dating, followed by an engagement in May 2023 at Kapurthala House, New Delhi, and a grand wedding celebration at The Leela Palace, Udaipur, on September 24, 2023.

Earlier this year, in August 2025, the couple announced their pregnancy with a touching Instagram post, sharing a cake inscribed with “1 + 1 = 3” and baby footprints, symbolizing the joy and excitement of their growing family.
