Bollywood icon Dharmendra has been admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, sparking an outpouring of concern and affection from fans around the world.

The beloved 89-year-old actor is currently under the careful supervision of a dedicated medical team, who are closely monitoring his condition.

Rumours earlier suggested that the veteran star had been placed on ventilator support, causing widespread panic among his admirers.

However, his wife, Hema Malini, took to social media to reassure everyone, expressing gratitude for the love and prayers being sent his way.

“I thank everyone for their concern about Dharam ji who is in hospital for observation. He is being continuously monitored and we are all with him,” she wrote. “I request you all to pray for his welfare and speedy recovery.”

Following her heartfelt message, several members of the Deol family including Sunny Deol, Tanya Deol, Karan Deol, and Rajveer Deol were seen arriving at the hospital to be by Dharmendra’s side.

Sources told IANS that while the exact reason for his hospitalization has not been officially disclosed, it is believed that what began as a routine check-up required extended observation.

Doctors remain optimistic as they continue to provide the best possible care.

As the legendary actor approaches his 90th birthday on December 8, fans across generations are sending their prayers and well wishes for his swift recovery.
