Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam has made a much-awaited return to the national T20I squad, as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced teams for the upcoming white-ball home series against South Africa, Sri Lanka, and Zimbabwe. 

The National Selection Committee has unveiled a 15-member T20I squad, which will play against South Africa from October 28 to November 1 in Rawalpindi and Lahore.

The same lineup will also feature in the T20I tri-series involving Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe later in November.

Babar Azam, Abdul Samad, and Naseem Shah have returned to the T20I setup, while Usman Tariq has earned his first international call-up.

The ODI squad, led by Shaheen Shah Afridi, also sees the return of Faisal Akram, Haris Rauf, and Haseebullah.

This announcement marks a significant phase for Pakistan cricket — blending experience with emerging talent and offering players a renewed chance to shine on home soil.

The series will not only test Pakistan’s strength across formats but also celebrate the spirit of the game, unity, and sportsmanship before enthusiastic home crowds.
