Gold prices in Pakistan and international markets have once again soared to record highs, inching closer to the Rs400,000 milestone.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola jumped by Rs5,100 on Tuesday, settling at Rs398,800.
Likewise, the price of 10 grams rose by Rs4,372, reaching Rs341,906.
The international bullion market also witnessed a sharp surge, with gold climbing by $51 per ounce to trade at $3,770.
Silver prices followed the upward trend, as the rate of 24-karat silver per tola increased by Rs42 to Rs4,637, while 10 grams were priced at Rs3,975.
