Gold price in Pakistan surges to a new all-time high once again

Gold and silver prices have once again reached record highs in Pakistan and global markets, creating fresh challenges for ordinary citizens already burdened by rising living costs.

In Pakistan, 24-karat gold surged by Rs3,400 per tola to Rs393,700, while 10 grams hiked by Rs 2,915 to Rs 337,534. Internationally, gold climbed by $34 per ounce, hitting $3,719.

Silver too saw sharp increases, with 24-karat silver rising by Rs 63 per tola to Rs 4,595, and 10 grams priced at Rs3,939.

These steep hikes highlight the growing pressure on households and underline the need for policies that protect people’s purchasing power.
