Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has urged his cabinet to move beyond discussions and take immediate, practical steps to uplift Pakistan’s economy, create opportunities, and strengthen livelihoods.
Chairing a high-level meeting on investment, economic growth, and trade, the Prime Minister emphasised that ministries must focus on actionable projects with clear targets and efficient use of resources.
He underlined that progress should not remain confined to plans but translate into tangible outcomes that benefit people across the country.
Shehbaz Sharif called for a future-oriented roadmap and reform agenda, highlighting key sectors such as agriculture, IT, minerals, tourism, and renewable energy — areas that can generate jobs, attract foreign investment, and improve living standards.
He stressed that trade and investment go hand in hand, noting that stronger exports will provide much-needed relief for Pakistan’s economy.
The Prime Minister also acknowledged the crucial role of the private sector, urging its active participation in shaping an inclusive growth strategy.
Highlighting the government’s ongoing reform policies, he said these measures have brought greater transparency and innovation, paving the way for sustainable progress.
