According to details, the Indian Ministry of Sports confirmed that the national team will participate in international events where Pakistan is also competing. This means that during the Asia Cup, both sides will lock horns on September 7 and again on September 14, provided the schedule remains unchanged.
However, the ministry made it clear that while India and Pakistan can face each other in multi-nation tournaments like the Asia Cup, there will be no bilateral cricket series between the two neighbors. Furthermore, no Indian team will be allowed to travel to Pakistan, nor will Pakistani players be permitted to tour India.
