A fresh wave of threats has been issued against Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, just a day after gunshots were fired outside comedian Kapil Sharma’s café in Canada.
In an audio clip shared by India Today, a man identifying himself as “Harry Boxer,” a member of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s group, warned that any actor, producer, or director working with Khan would be “shot.” Boxer went as far as to threaten “small-time” collaborators, saying they would be “responsible for their own life” if they associated with the Sultan star.
The threat comes on the heels of Thursday’s shooting at Sharma’s recently opened Kap’s Café in Surrey, marking the second such incident in less than a month. While no one was injured, the building was left with multiple bullet holes. The first attack happened on July 10.

Harry Boxer, originally from Rajasthan, reportedly entered the US illegally in 2014 and is accused of handling some of Bishnoi gang’s overseas operations, including alleged extortion calls to India. He is said to maintain contact with Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, Anmol Bishnoi.
Khan has been on the Bishnoi gang’s radar since the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, as the blackbuck is sacred to the Bishnoi community. Security concerns around the actor escalated after an April 2024 shooting outside his Mumbai home, which led to the arrest of two gang members.
Interestingly, another figure, Harjeet Singh Laddi—linked to the banned Babbar Khalsa International—also claimed responsibility for the Surrey café attack, saying it was in retaliation for comments about Nihang Sikhs’ attire made on Sharma’s Netflix show.
With multiple high-profile threats, calls are growing in Canada to officially label the Lawrence Bishnoi gang as a “terrorist organisation.”
