Pakistan has taken a major leap into the future by approving its first-ever National Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy, a move expected to create three million jobs by 2030 and boost the country’s GDP by 7–12%.
Federal Minister for Information Technology Shaza Fatima announced that the policy lays out a clear roadmap for AI growth, focusing on safe and responsible use of the technology. She said the initiative aims to strengthen Pakistan’s tech ecosystem while positioning the country as a competitive player in the global AI arena.
