Pakistan has firmly rejected recent allegations made by the Ukrainian President, saying no evidence was shared to support the claims.
Foreign Office spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan stated that Pakistan will raise the matter with Ukraine directly. He stressed that Pakistan wants a peaceful resolution to the Ukraine conflict and remains committed to dialogue.
Addressing the media, the spokesperson highlighted recent diplomatic engagements, including the visit of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi to Pakistan. The visit was hosted at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, with meetings held with President Asif Ali Zardari, the Prime Minister, and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.

During the discussions, both sides condemned Israel’s aggression against Palestine, expressed gratitude for mutual support during the recent Gaza conflict, and explored ways to expand bilateral trade, including through bartering.
On the Pakistan-Iran gas pipeline project, she confirmed that technical teams from both countries remain in contact and any developments will be shared once finalized. She described Pakistan-Iran relations as strong and deep-rooted.
The spokesperson also announced that Pakistan has dispatched its 18th relief consignment to Gaza, reaffirming its solidarity with the Palestinian people.

On the Kashmir issue, Pakistan welcomed U.S. interest in facilitating its resolution and encouraged other nations to show similar support. She strongly condemned India’s recent actions in Indian-occupied Kashmir, including the seizure of books and raids on bookstores, calling them an attack on Kashmiri history and identity.
Addressing Afghanistan’s diplomatic arrangements, she said the recent upgrade of the Afghan chargé d’affaires was done under a mutual agreement, making the formal request for diplomatic credentials unnecessary.
Reiterating Pakistan’s stance on Israel, she made it clear the country does not recognize it, and Pakistani passport holders cannot travel there — a policy set by the nation’s founder, Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
