Renowned YouTuber Rajab Butt has accepted the challenge issued by fellow content creator Shehzad Bhatti to return to Pakistan, announcing that he will be coming back on July 25.
This development comes amid an ongoing dispute between the two over allegations involving religious sensitivities and personal attacks.
According to Express News, the conflict between Rajab Butt and Shehzad Bhatti escalated when Bhatti accused Butt of insulting the honor of the Prophet’s companions (Sahaba). Bhatti challenged Butt, who had previously left Pakistan citing security concerns, to return to the country and face him.
Following the renewed rivalry, supporters from both sides have actively voiced their opinions and taken positions, intensifying the online debate.
Shehzad Bhatti threatened Rajab Butt over the alleged disrespect, warning, “If you come to Pakistan, I will deal with you personally. Whether any institution gets involved later, I will make sure you learn your lesson.” Bhatti added that Butt could stay abroad for a month but must return, calling it a direct challenge.
In response, Rajab Butt stated that although he had initially no plans to return, he now accepts Bhatti’s challenge and will arrive in Pakistan on July 25. Butt warned that Bhatti could choose any meeting location but emphasized he would not allow Bhatti to enter Lahore or he himself to visit Rawalpindi.
Rajab Butt also addressed Bhatti directly, asserting, “You are not the guardian of religion who can punish me. If I have done something wrong, the courts exist, and I have full faith in our institutions.” He clarified that his previous stay abroad was due to genuine security concerns and not fleeing from any accusations.
Butt further challenged Bhatti to meet him alone at a neutral place such as Sheikhupura or Bhaira, saying, “I will also come alone. Let’s see who comes out on top.”
Adding to the tension, Rajab Butt warned that if he shared certain voice messages linked to Bhatti, it could damage Bhatti’s reputation significantly. Butt remarked, “I once considered you a big brother, but you are not worthy of that respect anymore. That’s why I am coming back to Pakistan, and you should come too. The world will then see who is truly in trouble.”
