White House says test results are normal and no serious health issues found

Washington – President Donald Trump has been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, a common condition in older adults where damaged veins affect normal blood flow, according to the White House.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt shared the update on Thursday, stating the condition is “benign and common,” especially in people over 70. Trump underwent medical checks after swelling in his legs and visible bruising on his hands sparked public concern.

“There is no evidence of serious problems like deep vein thrombosis or artery disease,”

Leavitt said, reading a letter from Trump’s physician. She added that all test results were normal, including heart and kidney function. There were no signs of heart failure or any other serious illness.

Leavitt also addressed the bruising on Trump’s hands, saying it was due to frequent handshaking and his regular use of aspirin, which is commonly taken for heart health.

The White House confirmed that Trump remains in good health and continues his duties without any medical concerns.
