Karachi: (Senior Reporter, KM Abbasi) President Asif Ali Zardari has been discharged from a private hospital in Karachi after making a full recovery, according to his personal physician, Dr. Asim Hussain.
The President had been under treatment for more than 10 days, having been admitted to the hospital on April 1 due to health complications. He was transferred from Nawabshah to Karachi on the night of Eid-ul-Fitr following a sudden deterioration in his condition.
Dr. Asim Hussain confirmed that President Zardari's COVID-19 rapid test came back negative, clearing the way for his discharge. He further shared that the President is now in stable condition and has been advised to continue with physiotherapy as part of his recovery process.
“The President is doing well and has been allowed to go home. Doctors have recommended continued physiotherapy for complete rehabilitation,” said Dr. Asim.
