The much-anticipated HBL PSL X is all set to launch with a glittering opening ceremony at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Friday, April 11, marking the first time the stadium will host the inaugural festivities of Pakistan’s premier T20 league.

The grand ceremony will start at 7:00 PM, preceding an exciting opener between two-time title winners Lahore Qalandars and defending champions Islamabad United. The game will begin at 8:30 PM under the lights.

Providing star appeal to the ceremony, the ceremony will include heart-stirring performances by all-time Sufi legend Abida Parveen, a cultural performance by Ali Zafar, and a hip-hop performance by Young Stunners. Fans can also look forward to a live performance of the PSL X anthem by Abrar ul Haq, Natasha Baig, Talha Anjum, and Ali Zafar, followed by a dazzling fireworks display.

This year’s tournament will be played across four major venues—Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi—with 34 matches scheduled from April 11 to May 18.

The lion's share will go to the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, which will host 13 games, including both Eliminators and the May 18 Final. Rawalpindi will feature 11 matches, including the Qualifier on May 13, while Karachi and Multan will host five games each.

The schedule comprises three doubleheaders, two on Saturdays and one on Labour Day (May 1), guaranteeing spectators action-packed weekends. Cricket, culture, and celebration are in harmony.
